Expert-led GCSE English courses designed to build confidence and make measurable progress this February half term.
All February Half Term courses feature:
Small groups of no more than 5 students, kept small to ensure every student is supported and challenged.
Fully interactive, discussion-led teaching.
Delivered by a highly experienced GCSE English specialist & registered examiner.
Suitable for students who:
Benefit from small-group discussion: students will be encouraged to contribute, question ideas, and develop confidence in expressing their responses.
Are seeking purposeful, exam-led preparation rather than generic revision sessions.
Want a clear understanding of examiner expectations and how marks are awarded.
Need support turning knowledge into well-structured, high-scoring exam answers.
Courses Available
English Language Paper 1 & 2
10:00am – 4:30pm (Tuesday 17th February, Full Day Course)
This course is ideal for students seeking a comprehensive overview of GCSE English Language. Delivered as a one-day intensive covering both Paper 1 and Paper 2, the course focuses on exam technique, high-value skills, and confident exam performance. Students leave equipped with practical strategies they can apply immediately in their next mock or exam.
The course will include a 30 minute break for lunch.
Macbeth Course
10:00am – 1:00pm, Wednesday 18th February (Half Day Course)
A refined and high-impact revision course covering key themes, characters, quotations, and examiner-style responses. Students will leave knowing exactly what examiners are looking for, how marks are awarded, and how to apply this understanding in exam questions.
A Christmas Carol Course
2:00pm – 5:00pm, Wednesday 18th February (Half Day Course)
A refined and high-impact revision course covering key themes, characters, quotations, and examiner-style responses. Students will leave knowing exactly what examiners are looking for, how marks are awarded, and how to apply this understanding in exam questions.
Students wishing to attend both the Macbeth and A Christmas Carol course on the same day are more than welcome to stay for the duration of the break - drink refreshments will be provided.
Half Day Courses:
£40 for current students
£50 for new students
Full Day Courses:
£65 for current students
