Expert-led GCSE English courses designed for intensive exam preparation this Easter.
All Easter Past Paper Courses:
Cover one whole exam past paper.
Are in small groups of no more than 5 students, kept small to ensure every student is supported and challenged.
Feature fully interactive, discussion-led teaching.
Are delivered by a highly experienced GCSE English specialist & registered examiner.
Course Outline
10:00am – 3:30pm
These full-day courses replicate the exam experience and then recreate the examiner’s perspective.
The courses are designed to give students rare insight into how marks are awarded and how to improve efficiently.
Course structure:
10:00 – 10:30 Welcome, expectations, and exam overview
10:30 – 12:30/1:00 Timed completion of a full GCSE past paper under exam conditions
1:00 – 1:30 Lunch (students should bring lunch; refreshments provided)
1:30 – 3:30 Guided marking, detailed feedback, and targeted improvement strategies
Students leave with a clear understanding of:
Examiner expectations
How to maximise their marks efficiently
What to prioritise in their final weeks of revision
Suitable for Year 11 students who:
